I use a Woolworths booze branch called BWS (Beer Wine Spirits), as you can also buy specific discounted gift cards for it through the rewards app. Once I have selected a tipple, I scan my rewards extra code at the counter, pay for it with discounted gift card and get double points and sometimes extra points if there is a promo.

Many Lats have a specific bin in the home/garage put aside for collecting cans and bottles that attract a 10c return. When the bin is full, they take it to an electric return machine in town and slide them in. Get a voucher and it can then be used at a number of outlets on other shopping.

Note: If you are posting to the NT you will need to show ID to purchase alcohol. At time of writing digital cards are not accepted.
